Genre: New Adult Contemporary Romance

Synopsis
Seth is back.

When he walked back into my life, it almost felt like the pieces of my broken heart could be fixed. I thought we could go back to being best friends, but then I started to feel what I had been blocking out for years. I tried. Boy, did I try! But once I started to let him in, I wanted nothing more than to cross that line from friendship into something more…

Just when I think I can move on and let myself be happy, an ugly reminder from my past comes storming in and threatens to destroy the sliver of hope that's been growing since Seth came back.

Do I even deserve to be loved?

“I’m not asking to fix your heart. I’m not asking to mend you. I love each and every shattered piece of you. I’m asking that you let me love you. Let me love each piece of your broken heart, and I swear to you I will make up for every heartache you have ever experienced.”

I came back for Josie.

I knew I'd have to fight for her, but with the loss of her dad and the truth about what happened with her and Blake, I quickly realized that making her mine was going to be a lot harder than I first thought. The problem is, I can’t pretend like she’s just my best friend. I can’t pretend I don’t want more.

I'm willing to do anything to get her to admit she has the same passionate feelings for me, because I know once she opens up and stops lying to herself, I can show her what it really means to be loved. It's a battle of wills, but my love for her is stronger than her will to stop me.

So I fight for her. I fight because I know she deserves it.

Review: Crashed by K. Bromberg

This is the third and final book in the Driven Trilogy.

MY RYLEE
MY COLTON

We already know about Rylee and Colton's never ending quarrel about their relationship status and their feelings for each other. The end of Fueled left us reeling with our emotions on edge. What happens from that point on? Crashed begins right where Fueled ended. Colton is in the right for his life and this time no one knows whether his superheros will be there to pull him through.

“Remember, hurting is feeling and feeling is living and isn’t it good to be alive?”

There is multiple story lines in this book but, I mean that in a good way. This book was a page turner and if you've read the series you can immediately tell how developed and whole K. Bromberg's writing has become. Crashed is action packed from the beginning to the end, just when you think it's smooth sailing for Rylee and Colton *Surprise* K.Bromberg writes a wave that crashes you back down to reality.

I don't think I've ever had so many tear reading a book that gave an absolute perfect ending to a broken story.

When reading this book; What you think is.. ISN'T.

Review: Fueled by K. Bromberg

This book is the second part to the Driven trilogy by K. Bromberg.

5 Sexy, Steaming, Sensual STARS!!!

If you've read Driven, you already know Rylee and Colton's story. Colton is a playboy with a arrogant attitude that is used to get exactly what he wants, when he wants it. Rylee is stong willed woman focused on helping her charity. Both of them are deeply emotionally broken but can they fix each other? Or is their love inevitably doomed?

*my colton*

“Listen. I know he looks like a damn Adonis and probably fucks like a stallion, but, sweetie, if he’s what you want, then it’s time to make him sweat a little.”
― K. Bromberg, Fueled

All secrets are revealed in this rollercoaster of a book! This book ends exactly where Driven left off, Rylee is thrown out of Colton's home, embarrassed and angry. As both Rylee and Colton confess their deep, dark secrets to each other their pathetic excuse for an "arrangement" is put to the test. The trials and tribulations is the least of the problems, they can't love each other if they aren't able to accept themselves. Besides dealing with their own problems and with attempting some sibilance of a relationship, someone goes and ruins everything that they have worked through with each other! Rylee gives Colton a run and test of his own medicine.

This book took me through a whirlwind of emotions, there was times I had to put this book down in order to take a break to breath and stop my crying.

The end leaves a cliffhanger that is beyond heart wrecking and frusterating!

Review: Driven by K. Bromberg

“Don’t you feel it, Rylee? This—” he says gesturing a hand between him and I, “this charge we have here? The electricity we have when we’re together is way too strong to ignore.”

Rylee Thomas is a girl that has dealt with many hardships and heartache in her past. She is a hard and passionate worker for her organization that focuses on helping children in the foster system. She's tough and remains unfazed by the men around her until she literally stumbles into the arms of a breathtakingly, handsome, and arrogant man.. Colton Donavan.
Colton, Oh.. Colton. The smug, arrogant, and cocky gift from the gods. He's young, rich, and he's hiding secrets that no one knows. He comes from a troubled past and uses this arrogance of his to push people away... That is until he meets Rylee, she changes his bad boy attitude and he doesn't like it!
Rylee is a smartass that is resistant towards Colton's playboy charm. Can she fight the raw, primal attract that she feels for Colton? He makes it almost impossible.. Chasing her as if she's the last woman on earth. She's a tough cookie and a winning personality.
Can these two fight the attraction they have with each other? Or can they possibly attempt a relation despite both of them being broken and unable to fully love each other?
I love you Colton, as damaged as you are!

*This book is part of trilogy.

Review: A Fire that Burns by Kirsty Anne Still

This book is one of those books that once you pick up, you just can't seem to put it down. once I started it, I just read all day, and did nothing else.

Austin and Tyler's story wasn't a happy one, or so at least it didn't start out that way.

Austin is just a small town girl with such a big heart who falls in love with the guy that she calls her best friend, the guy she knew for her entire life. The books begins six years after the decision Austin makes to leave, not just the love of her life, but her friends, and her family.

Six years later though, she returns to her hometown and the moment that she lays eyes on Tyler again, all the feelings that she went years trying to forget and move on from come rushing back in an instant flash. The intensity of the chemistry and feelings this couples has for each other was very well written and easy to feel within each word that I read. Tyler and Austin's love, it was inevitable, and when its real, you just can't walk away.Even years and years away from each other, with absolutely no contact, or seeing each other, the powerful feelings they had for each other, never once went away, they were just hidden by the pain and sadness of the choice that Austin made to run away.

Later on, you realize that Austin didn't just leave because she wanted to leave, there's an entire story of heartache and misery behind it. You realize just how broken of a person Austin was at nineteen years old, and she felt leaving was the only thing that she could do.

Will Tyler and Austin Find their way back to each other. In a story about love, heartache and everything in between, you realize just how powerful love can be. This is determinately a book that I recommend, go pick up don't miss out.

Kirsty did a wonderful job on this book. It definitely deserves a five star rating.
